Instructor (Heels)
Kelsey Wiles
Kelsey began dancing at age six in Dover, New Hampshire, soaking in every class from jazz and ballet to lyrical and contemporary. As a young teen, she joined her studio's jazz and lyrical competitive teams while traveling around New England to compete in competitions and participate in conventions.
In high school, Kelsey lost touch with dance, finding the external pressure to be perfect was too great. However, years later, after moving to Burlington, Vermont, for college, where she studied education and creative writing, Kelsey rediscovered her passion for movement. Except this time... in heels. At Lines Vermont, a South Burlington-based studio, Kelsey found Heels—an offering focused on dancing fiercely, sensually, and solely for yourself. She fell in love with the style hard and fast. But even more exciting than the choreography, Kelsey renewed a love for her mind and body.
Since then, Kelsey has moved home to New Hampshire for graduate school at the University of New Hampshire. When she's not in school, she is taking dance classes in a variety of styles at Seacoast Stilettos in Peabody, Massachusetts, and our very own DC2!

Instructor (Tap)
Jeana Straccia
Jeana began dancing at the age of 3 where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop at the Eleanor Rubino Academy of Performing Arts in East Boston, Massachusetts. For 10+ years, Jeana’s childhood was shaped by performing at community events, competing at the regional and national level, and participating in rigorous conventions such as Dance Masters of America. After having some space from the dance community to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Jeana returned to the Boston area and was delighted to find numerous dance offerings for adults looking to dance; either to reconnect with their childhood hobby or to fall in love with dance for the first time!

For the last two years, Jeana has integrated her love for dance and movement by training in heels, tap, street jazz, and commercial performance in addition to her normal movement routines of yoga and strength training. Jeana feels that taking care of her physical health through movement has allowed her to take care of her mental health better than ever before. She is immensely grateful that there is always a dance floor to land on.

Jeana continues to train and perform with industry level professionals at Boston Dance Studios, Seacoast Stilettos, Deborah Mason Performing Arts Center, and more. When she is not in the lab pursuing her career as an Analytical Scientist, you can catch her trying new movement styles and instructors, participating in local performance projects, hyping up her peers, and creating visual art on instagram (@jeanamovez). Come dance with her!
